We understand that there come plenty of questions before each trip, so here are some common things we get asked:
What should we bring?
We have plenty of room for everybody to bring almost anything they think they’ll need for the duration of your trip. We provide almost everything except for California fishing licenses, and alcohol. You can buy your California fishing license here, or at Fisherman’s Landing the day of the charter. And you can also bring your own alcohol, which we can keep cool for you throughout the trip.
How does the food work?
All of the food we have onboard is all included in the price of your charter. We have snacks always available throughout the charter, and we typically serve mid-day snacks between meals. Speaking of meals, we can send you a list of meal options for you to pick out meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner while you’re onboard. Also, if you or somebody in your party has any food allergies or other dietary restrictions, we ask that you let us know before the charter so we can plan accordingly.
How should we dress while on the boat?
We always suggest that everybody dress in layers. Most often than not, it is a little chilly early in the
morning or later in the evening, but can often be quite warm during the day. Typically shorts, T-shirts, swimsuits, and a sweatshirt would do the trick.
What type of tackle do we supply?
We use a wide variety of tackle, and we’re always trying out different things throughout the day until finding the right combination to get on the hot bite. We will typically use live bait, along with Shimano Flat Falls for the tuna that are down deep. We also have customized fishing rods and poles specifically for the boat by Jigslinger Customs, along with conventional reels as well as 2-speed reels for the bigger fish.

Parking can be a little tricky depending on the time of the year, so we suggest on arriving early to park. There is free 72-hour parking in the area, next to Pizza Nova (on N. Harbor Dr.), along with a free 72-hour parking lot next door to the Best Western on N. Harbor Dr.
